Privacy Policy

Blackjack 21 ("the app") is a free, virtual-chip card game. It does not involve real money, real-money gambling, or any way to cash out — the chips have no monetary value and cannot be purchased with or exchanged for real currency. This page explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Account & sign-in

You can play in two ways:

• Guest play — the app creates an anonymous account for your device via Firebase Authentication. No personal information is collected.
• Google Sign-In (optional) — if you choose to sign in with Google, the app receives your Google account's display name and profile photo. This is used only to show your name/avatar to other players in leaderboards and friend groups.

What we store

The app stores game data in Firebase (Firestore), tied to your account id:

• Your display name and avatar (visible to other players in your friend group and on leaderboards)
• Your chip balance, stats, and leaderboard score
• Friend-group membership (a 6-character code shared with people you invite)

We do not collect your email address, phone number, precise location, or payment information — the app has no in-app purchases or payment features of any kind.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules them entirely on your device (a daily chip-bonus reminder and an alert when a friend passes your leaderboard score). These are not sent from a server and no notification content is transmitted off your device.

Advertising & analytics

The app does not contain any advertising SDK and does not show real ads. It does not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with Google Firebase, our backend infrastructure provider, to operate the app (authentication, database, hosting). It is never shared with advertisers or other third parties.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at the address below with your in-app display name or friend-group code so we can locate your record. We will delete it within 30 days.

Children

Blackjack 21 is not directed at children and simulates casino-style betting with virtual chips; it is not intended for users who do not meet the minimum age required by their app store's content rating.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and, for material changes, we'll note it in the app's release notes.
